Coverage and eligibility vary by insurer. Please check your policy for coverage eligibility. For non-affiliated insurance partners, patients are required to pay a $50 CAD consultation fee. A receipt will be issued for you to reimburse to your insurance company for assessment of reimbursement.
Certain services are not covered by provincial or private insurance and may incur extra fees at the end of your appointment.
Please note that certain forms and documents may require an in-person assessment at a local healthcare facility and will be filled in at the healthcare provider’s discretion, when medically appropriate.
A doctor’s note starts from $40 CAD. The healthcare provider or administration team will confirm the charge at the time of your visit and reach out to you to collect payment prior to your visit.
Doctor’s notes cannot be backdated. However, we can include details about when you were seen by the provider or healthcare facility, as well as note if you were symptomatic 1–2 days before your appointment. A doctor’s note can cover a maximum of 3–5 days, depending on your specific situation. A follow-up appointment is required should you wish to extend your doctor’s note.

For Treatment of Patients Residing Outside of Canada
The Patient agrees that the relationship between himself / herself, doctors and healthcare providers of MedCare Connect shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws acknowledges that the treatment/services was performed in the Province of Ontario and the Courts of the Province of Ontario shall have jurisdiction to entertain any compliant, demand, claim or cause of action whether based on alleged breach of contract or alleged negligence arising out of the treatment. The patient hereby agrees that he / she will commence any such legal proceedings in the Province of Ontario and only in the Province of Ontario and hereby submits to the jurisdiction of the Courts of the Province of Ontario.
